This is by far the most funny and enjoyable anime I have watched ! Despite all those random fan shippings about shounen-ai/yaoi going around, there isn't any such thing in the anime and I'm really glad about it. Wolfram might be a bit over obsessive about Yuuri but that's the best part that brings out the comedy, not forgetting Anissina's inventions of course ! Not only was it something completely different from the rest of the anime out there but also made me go all emotional at times, never expected that from a anime that comes under "comedy". (read more)

Aside from the hints of BL and randomness from time to time,
I recommend this anime for its awesome plot and characters!
If you haven't watch this, then you're missing big time!!!

Kyo Kara Maoh is very good Anime if you search for something to relax. It has a slightly Shonen Ai touch but this are only inklings. The story is until the ending of the first season covered by the novel too but then the storyline goes different ways.
It has parts of fantasy, Shonen Ai and sport elements in it.
I wish you great joy with the anime

Simply superb.... Its got such a good story that, man, you can't let it be once you've started seeing it.......
The Intro of Murata Ken, later in the story, and the "mis-deed" of Konrad!!! Such awesome twists...... One of the best story ever :D And the dialogue is good too, implying the various puns used through out....
On the whole, a perfect anime for action lovers, as well as, a bit of "Slice-Of-Life" touch.... But there isn,t much romance, yet its an awesome comedy......

This is the funnest out of some amine I have watched. It's different with its own sense of uniqueness with the character stumbling into some different and then become someone powerful yet he has no power himself for now, and on adventurous quests, he realized how to new his powers bit by bit while meeting new people and making friends and saving them at some.
I think this is a great series to introduce, in lite version the BL genre. It is definitely not hard-core in any way, but is a strong story none the less. It allows for the relationships to be construed from the characters interactions, and is a nice adventure story for those that don't read into things. This is definitely one that can be watched with parents in the room. I also would highly recommend the 3rd season and the OVA if you haven't seen them yet and finish this series.
