This anime is more for the female audience - it's shounen ai and filled with mostly bishounen. The main plot is good, although it fails to keep enfolding as the main problems are resolved fairly early. The various stories within are excellent and a lot of fun. There is a lot of character development and an in depth look at various kinds of relationships, especially brotherhood and family. Yuri is sweet and heroic, though sometimes a little annoying, but the Maoh, his demon side, makes up for everything. There is a lot of romance in this, mainly between Yuri and one of his vassals, and the rest follow with the trend of shounen manga/anime, where they are subtly hinted at but never quite develop. There's a lot of fun magic!! Plus it's nice to find yourself on the demon side of things - Yuri and his followers are all demons or half-demons, and trying to reach an understanding with the human side of their word.
