Summary:
Apparently abandoned by his mother, orphan Lag Seeing is taken as a "letter" by "Letter Bee" Gauche Suede to a town where his aunt raises him. His affection and admiration for Gauche give Lag the ambition to become a Letter Bee himself, carrying mail through the dangerous wasteland between towns on his world. When he becomes a teenager, he makes the trip to the capital to take the examination to become a trainee Letter Bee. En route, he meets the strange, powerful girl-like creature Niche, who becomes his "dingo," a Letter Bee's travelling companion. Lag yearns to find his mother, and discover why she abandoned him, if she did.

Letter Bee is about a boy Lag Seeing, who aspire to become a Tegami Bachi (Letter Bee) after meeting Gauche Suade who during his time is referred to as an “Ace Bee.” The anime doesn’t really follow a solid plot instead most of the episodes is about Lag’s adventures as Tegami Bachi along with his mysterious Dingo, “Niche”, and unique pet, “Steak.” Some people might find this anime a bit slow since most of the episodes are about people and their various letters and packages, however, if you like watching heart-warming stories with (read more)
Letter Bee is about a boy Lag Seeing, who aspire to become a Tegami Bachi (Letter Bee) after meeting Gauche Suade who during his time is referred to as an “Ace Bee.” The anime doesn’t really follow a solid plot instead most of the episodes is about Lag’s adventures as Tegami Bachi along with his mysterious Dingo, “Niche”, and unique pet, “Steak.” Some people might find this anime a bit slow since most of the episodes are about people and their various letters and packages, however, if you like watching heart-warming stories with a touch of fantasy then you will certainly enjoy this series. Some of the stories are quite memorable and touching and some of the characters are interesting and likable. Lag’s optimism and determination is admirable however, his tendency to cry on almost every mission he comes across with can be a bit irritating to watch (and he mostly cry on almost every episode!). For a 25-episode anime I was expecting that there would be at least some episodes that would tackle the actual story itself like Lag’s mysterious past and why was his mother abducted or at least a reason why some places/people dislike Bee’s due to their connection to the Government, there is also the mystery surrounding Gauche disappearance as well as the existence of the organization called “Reverse.” This things could have grounded the anime more and would have provided a much more interesting aspect to the series, unfortunately, we were only given hints in only a few episodes and even the ending didn’t give away much. However, despite it’s short-coming I really enjoyed this series due mostly to its storytelling and animation and I hope 2nd season will concentrate more on the actual story and provide more information rather than just giving hints on what really is going on. It's a great show if you give it a chance, i hated it at first and hated the main character even more but i slowly liked the anime and hated him less and less. Show be watched you'll love it "Bee"lieve me i'm a doctor xD
