To me watching this brought back memories of watching Clannad which I loved.
The story itself was built around the schools coming together, but the main point was to show how a certain person affected so many within the new setting. It was a nice and touching story that had it slight sense of humor to keep the mood overall up.
The dialogue was to be expected nice and fluid and not much out of the normal.
Animation was beautiful as one could say "as love is pure white." The animation fit the series so well.

Entertainment this anime kept you in such a nice and calm mood. This is similar to Clannad in the sense that and overall calming setting with its up and downs. But with the sense of humor and nice interaction between characters it made for a nicely entertaining anime.
Any good anime fan of drama/comedy anime should give this a watch cause it is well worth watching. The only thing I am somewhat disappointed in is that there most likely won't be a second season with the way it ended which is actually good for a change that an anime ended nicely without so many cliffhangers. one of the original anime storyline that got to be seen. Though school merging anime story has quite the similarity, mashiroiro has brought it up to a new level.
love how the story develope, art wise; top notch.
the pairing of couple .. just gotta love it ~
definitely one of the best autumn 2011 anime around.
I recommend to you all tis love story bcoz mostly a love story begins with the main character falling in love at the first sight or falling in love with their childhood friend. But Mashiro's love story developed from a friendship into a love relationship.

Overall, this anime is extremely captivating - I actually personally finished the whole anime in a single day! The idea of two schools trying to merge and having the girls' school try to reject the co-ed school was really original, and made me want to watch it because I wanted to know what was going to happen and whether the two schools can end up working together or not. Also, the animation was extremely beautiful, and the scenes seemed so realistic and were colored really beautifully. The characters were also beautifully illustrated as well. The (read more)

Also, the animation was extremely beautiful, and the scenes seemed so realistic and were colored really beautifully. The characters were also beautifully illustrated as well. The music was excellent, most of the soundtracks with notes played by an orchestra. The plot itself has a lot of misleading points which may make you think that the main character, Shingo Uryu, hold feelings for a girl, but in another moment, he shows compassion for another girl, so it does have an unexpected ending if you're expecting for him to be with another girl, but ends up with another which you never even thought he'd end up with! I actually had doubts about this anime at first, but I ended up loving it, as it did really convey a deep meaning with the plot! I recommend this anime to anyone who loves romance stories with slightly tragic ends, beautiful anime with realistic scenery, and unusual plots! (show less)
