Overall, this anime is extremely captivating - I actually personally finished the whole anime in a single day! The idea of two schools trying to merge and having the girls' school try to reject the co-ed school was really original, and made me want to watch it because I wanted to know what was going to happen and whether the two schools can end up working together or not. Also, the animation was extremely beautiful, and the scenes seemed so realistic and were colored really beautifully. The characters were also beautifully illustrated as well. The music was excellent, most of the soundtracks with notes played by an orchestra. The plot itself has a lot of misleading points which may make you think that the main character, Shingo Uryu, hold feelings for a girl, but in another moment, he shows compassion for another girl, so it does have an unexpected ending if you're expecting for him to be with another girl, but ends up with another which you never even thought he'd end up with! I actually had doubts about this anime at first, but I ended up loving it, as it did really convey a deep meaning with the plot! I recommend this anime to anyone who loves romance stories with slightly tragic ends, beautiful anime with realistic scenery, and unusual plots!
