Summary:
One day, a strange transfer student appears before Tsubaki. Urabe Mikoto is an antisocial girl, whose hobby is just sleeping during class-breaks. One day, Tsubaki goes to wake her up and accidentally tastes her drool... And gets hooked on that! After that, he starts going out with her and gets to know her better. Her second hobby, as it turns out, is carrying around scissors in her panties and cutting paper into flowers...
Before anyone crticizes me, I'm a great fan of the original manga and I would clearly give 10/10 for that. But after watching the first few episodes of the anime, I'd say I'm not impressed.
The very first thing I disliked about the anime is the music and sounds. I don't have problems with the opening and ending. But with it's sometimes eery tone, the music is emphasizing the weirdness of the story.
I've felt the weirdness of the "daily routine", but I could easily get over it. I mean almost the same thing happens when two people kiss.

In my opinion the story is not (and should not be) about weirdness, but the connection of two people, lovers, and that love can and should transcend plain sexuality. In other words it's about pure love and acceptance of the other. But the atmosphere of the anime is a way different than this, and I mainly blame the sounds and music for that. (show less)

Weird fetish set in the pubescent urges mix within drama
The thing that only set this series apart from the typical "he said she said teen love drama" is this wierd fetish with the consumsion of another's saliva. Miss Mokoto Urabe Momoto's flashy scissors slipping out from her panties, however her loved stuck boyfriend, Mr Akira Tsubaki can be way too timid and a bit too lacking in confidence. There's the underlying certainty that they will end up in a coital situation by the sieres end. If it in fact ends on a good note. This would be my actual second review but somehow I didn't get credit for the first (read more)

So, you should check it out first, but if you're not into patheic gossip/cheating/manipulating/shceming/high school love drama. Then look to another please.
The thing that'll probably be off-putting to some people when watching this show is the drool fetish that they seem to got going on, but other than that if it follows the manga, which based off the first episode it's doing a great job, then it'll be a rather decent show. The author of the manga, Ueshiba Riichi, has a very interesting sense of humor, mainly it's similar to that of Urabe Mikoto, so it can be weird and hard to follow. For example, when Urabe was in Tsubaki-san's room and he asked her if he had gotten the fever from her drool because (read more)

For example, when Urabe was in Tsubaki-san's room and he asked her if he had gotten the fever from her drool because she had some virus or something weird wrong with her, which anybody who watched the episode was probably assuming, but then she just started laughing. It just seemed like she was not only laughing at Tsubaki for thinking that, but also the audience in a way. But anyway its clearly a weird show and if you can get past that then it's a rather decent anime. (show less)
