Summary:
Naruto closely follows the life of a boy who is feared and detested by the villagers of the hidden leaf village of Konoha. The distrust of the boy has little to do with the boy himself, but it’s what’s inside him that causes anxiety. Long before Naruto came to be, a Kyuubi (demon fox) with great fury and power waged war taking many lives. The battle ensued for a long time until a man known as the Fourth Hokage, Yondaime, the strongest ninja in Konoha, fiercely fought the Kyuubi. The fight was soon won by Yondaime as he sealed the evil demon in a human body. Thus the boy, Naruto, was born. As Naruto grows he decides to become the strongest ninja in Konoha in an effort to show everyone that he is not as they perceive him to be, but is a human being worthy of love and admiration. But the road to becoming Hokage, the title for the strongest ninja in Konoha, is a long and arduous one. It is a path filled with betrayal, pain, and loss; but with hard work, Naruto may achieve Hokage.

I hate how so many people will either just bash the anime and its fans or you have the people who say how this is the best anime ever. Well sorry this isn't the best anime ever. Naruto is a above average anime that has its kinks and flaws as with any anime.
The Story itself is decent. You follow the main character around in his exploits as a ninja. You see him and his team develop throughout as well as others.
Dialogue can be annoying but also fun. As with pretty much any action anime, when they should be fighting you get them talking. Never (read more)

Never got it that you will stop fighting just to talk and explain everything to the other fighter....Though you do have those moments between team members and just moments where dialogue is producing an emotional effect for the viewer.
Animation well that is typical. They do well and most things seem fluid and polished.
Entertainment is surely there for anime action anime person. You have your various fights and ton of different types of techniques.
Like I said this isn't the best anime and I will never get how people can constantly say it is. Good anime to give a shot, but I recommend after episode 137 or 138 just skip to Shippuudden if you want to see what happens next cause one bad this about the Naruto series and a few other series is they are overly abundant with fillers cause anime caught to the manga to quick. SHippuden just pisses me off and many others. This is the good old naruto, where nothing has been trolled and raped with horrible ideas and terrible storywriting.
OLD NARUTO FTW and the beginning of shippuden was still good
Unlike bleach where i was hooked from the very first 10 episodes, it took very long till i got into this show. But it was worth it if you can forget the fact that 66% of the anime are fillers then you can be sure to have a good show here. I only watched naaruto shipuden in tv as raw in japanese so i didnt understand much and i cant write a review about it but i will watch it soon with subs and write another review.
Anyway this show is good

Its really annoying,naruto fans keep giving very poor rates to anything but naruto,naruto is good but u guys make it look the like the worst.
i personally liked this anime but i stopped watching it cause it doesnt stop lol (shipuden) anyway story good animation not bad for its release time (2002) the best was the fight in the end.
there's no such things as "the best anime in the world" dude =.= everyone have different taste and thinking,
and if you're claiming that naruto is the best anime, then you're wrong, because if it's really the best, then they shouldn't be any negative review and haters of this anime >.> so keep your addiction all to yourself please =.=

the storyline is good and so is the character designs,
the plots are well draft as the storyline goes on, it's really worthy to watch to while away time
