Summary:
In the near future, mankind has suffered from a Third World War, leaving extreme damage all over and forced mankind to become even more distinct from their species. The world was at chaos and from this chaos comes a new species: “Needless”. The Needless are humans who have contracted a “disease” as humans may call them, and allow them to wield extraordinary powers far superior to any mankind. Their abilities include Telekinesis, elemental powers, gravity control, adaptation, radioactive release and all manners of scientific impossibility.
well i just usually be a silent reader, ,not give a comment/rating over anime i've been watching,,
but this anime different,,,if u like fs,,and dont like big boobs i would recommend this anime,,they have a lot moe character(except for riru), ,and i like it so much the Pretty Girl Squad,,and the ED was awesome
after all the story is good,,there is always joke between their fights,,,,and i like the type main chara(blade) that so full of himself that doesnt care ppl get killed except little girl,, not some nice man that always talking saying something (read more)

This was really great, so many funny scenes and epic fights and all brought together by the awsome characters.Pity they didnt make a 2nd season 4 it though

I saw Needless on my recommendation list. I have to say. At first, judging from the title and story, I thought this is gonna be another Dragon-Ball-Z-ish anime where you have to fight and fight and fight; and with the main antogonist's unlimited power, this anime is gonna blow. Well, after watching it, I'm totally psyched.
I know from first look, it might sound boorish. But give Needless a chance, you will love it for sure!!
FYI, the anime and manga are completely different. Anime - Archlight died. Manga - still rocking

a must watch if you like, crazy characters, alot of special attacks, pantie shots and an above average story.
a super hilarious anime that I won't stop from laughing!!! LoL :D
try watching this maybe you might laugh from all the nonsense they been doing on each ep
and totally loved the characters especially with their personalities they made my laugh out loud until voice got sored from laughing hahaha!!!!
Very fimilar to Gurren Lagaan in various ways.. Especially entertainment.....

Now, for all of you who are considering to watch this, then you should. This anime reminded me of Tenga Toppa Gurren Lagann (highly recconmended anime) which sparked the interest in me to watch this. The art and the music are great, but the ED is just fanservice (kind unique and different to the opening).
Besides that, it is is a very nice and enjoyable anime to watch.
