The theme of the film is the love between parents and children. The story covers 13 years and begins with a 19-year-old college student named Hana who encounters and falls in 'fairy tale-like' love with a 'wolf man.' After marrying the wolf man, Hana gives birth and raises two wolf children — an older sister named Yuki who was born on a snowy day, and a younger brother named Ame who was born on a rainy day. The four quietly lived in a corner of a city to conceal the existence of the 'wolf children,' but when the wolf man suddenly dies, Hana decides to move to a rural town far removed from the city.

First time watch this movie i was like full of these feels. sad and happy at the same time. beginning of the story till the end was awesome. I'm speechless... i like studio ghibli anime!! no wonder they won many award

I usually don't watch movies because few of them are actually good and worth to see. So, I have to say that this movie is a big exception!!!!! I liked the story and the plot... However, I wouldn't stop crying!!!! I don't want to spoil you this magical movie but if you give it a change and watch for about 30 mins you will find out a little masterpiece ,which you wish to never finish!!! Just watch it and you won't regret it in the end!!
Werewolf kids can be so cute, I never knew. XD This is definitely one of the best movies out there, somewhat Ghibli-flavor-ish though it's not Ghibli XD just simple and nice and with a lot of character development and awesome characters and plain gorgeous art! Bit slow but plenty entertaining if you like Ghibli and similar stuff, that focuses on the characters :D highly recommended!! XD

There isn't much i can say about the story because the summary pretty much says it all. However i must say that this is by far one of the best stories i've seen in a long time. The animation style is very pretty and fitting to the story. It's a very slow moving movie, and at nearly 2 hours some people might get bored because there is no action in it. But if you feel like watching an anime about the everyday lives of a woman raising a couple of werewolf kids while they decide on whether they want to be human or wolf, then this is definitely a must (read more)
