Summary:
Oz Bezarius, heir to one of the duke houses, has just turned fifteen. His life is rich and carefree, darkened only by the constant absence of his father. At his coming-of-age ceremony, however, everything changes. For no reason that he can discern, he's cast into the prison known as the "Abyss", only to be saved by a "chain" known as Alice, the bloodstained black rabbit. It is unknown why was he cast into Abyss, how does Alice factor into it all, and what does the organization known as "Pandora" want with him.

If you like mysteries and plot twists with a good amount of humor and action, then Pandora Hearts is full of them. The thing is, you'll probably only get a quarter of all the questions answered in the anime.
Pandora Hearts is based on a manga of the same title. While it follows the original story for most episodes, the anime like most adaptations of ongoing manga trails off as it nears the last episode. The anime throws you into a sea of mystery and tension, then slams you directly to the wall of "WTF?" with a ridiculously forced ending. (read more)

If you are only planning to watch the anime, I ask you to reconsider and read the manga as well, where everything will take a 180-degree turn. Just when you think you've figured everything out, Mochizuki-sensei will shatter your beliefs for you.
Still, seeing the characters moving on screen is quite entertaining. The OSTs are beautifully composed and well executed, compensating for the so-so art style (esp. the coloring) used. (show less)

Story was a good interesting concept. Had your protagonist not just learning about what is happening around him, but also learning about himself. The story flows nicely until the second half which then it jumps around at times making it overall hard to understand at times.
Dialogue was good nothing really to complain about. Voice acting fit each character.
Animation fit the performance of the anime. Nothing out of the ordinary that that puts your jaw down a few inches though. Overall it was what you expect from an anime.

Entertainment was actually fun. You have a good mix of characters, and even in times where the story seemed to be serious they were able to throw in moments you just couldn't stop yourself from laughing. Mixed well with comedy and the action side of it.
Now the anime was good overall it does end in the anime style: To many unanswered questions, let alone many points that seemed like they would have been keys for the story were almost forgotten. To me it is worth the watch, but the way it ends you might want to be reading the manga afterwards to really get a full understanding. (show less)

Certainly not a comedy, however it kept my attention for quite a while, but after that it just got boring. The story is quite original and detailed, but with the first 4 episodes 'setting the stage' for the rest of it....to much detail is just as bad as not enough :/

This anime is indeed nice.The Soundtrack also good to hear.The only thing that spoil the story is ......."GILBERT GAY??!!"
