Himeno Awayuki was a normal sixteen-year old girl until her father married a woman who happens to be rich. Since then, she has been perceived as an outcast by both her new stepsisters and her classmates. Later Himeno finds out from seven men called the Leafe Knights that she is something called Pretear, a girl who has the power to merge with and control the nature of the elemental-oriented powers from the Leafe Knights and stop an evil being called the Princess of Disaster.

Pretear has these characters where you will fall in love with.. i think that this anime is more of the drama side that's why there were times that it really gets boring but on the other hand, i'm sure that everybody will love this
It's quite good. loved the storyline, loved the animation and most of all i loved the character development. definitely something to watch. of course there were a few nasty surprises in this anime but that is what makes it so great. the last five episodes really keep you on the edge of your seat. a definite 5/5

I watched this anime maybe three years ago and was immediately hooked. Just recently re-watching it and realizing that Hayate was voiced by Illich Guardiola, I fell in love with it all over again. Though, this anime is quite emotional, full of teenage angst and depressing situations, it is beautiful down to it's core. The animation is very well done through to the end, and they really stick to the characters, keeping them in character. The story is one that is often seen, but they seem to weave the comedy and romance well, and it left me yearning (read more)

if you're a big sailor moon fan then you'll definitely love this anime. the story is about family, friendship, and love. the soundtrack is also very good.
