Summary:
The series takes place in the near future, when it is possible to instantaneously measure and quantify a person's state of mind and personality. This information is recorded and processed, and the term "Psycho-Pass" refers to a standard used to measure an individual's being. The story centers around the "enforcement officer" Shinya Kougami, who is tasked with managing crime in such a world.
It's one of those anime when you finish it, you would feel like that you were just wasting your time.
It's open-ended which means the writer couldn't come up with a great ending.
All the characters die eventually. only one person survives and when he/she makes it to the end, all the things that happened through 22 episodes start happening again. Just like the ending of Final Destination series.
The whole plot is ridiculous. humans are being manipulated by the robots. (genius....) Just who come up with these ideas...?
Anyway, I was expecting (read more)

Anyway, I was expecting something far better when I read the reviews and the other comments but the real thing (psycho-pass) wasn't satisfactory. (well, at least for me)
this is seriously one of the best anime series out there, the story is great and the characters development is awesome. i love how it shows the different concepts of justice among the people. the soundtrack is really good i love it! in general i really recommend this anime for any one who is looking for something unique and great.
What I love about this anime - the suspense, the trill, the new inputs and how it takes the typical dystopic setting and makes it so much more entertaining, its dark and dirty streets crawling with life, love and emotion. On the more intellectual side, this is amazing. It discusses not just the human condition but questions morality and governance, (read more)

On the more intellectual side, this is amazing. It discusses not just the human condition but questions morality and governance, almost making a point for anarchy but at the end of this delightful story of twists and turns, the plot turns on its head and ultimately asks the question of whether institutions should ultimately exist.
It's hard to put all I think and eel about psychopass into words - and by the way, did I mention that Kogami is hawt? Also makishima Shougo is hawt, mad and brilliant!
Gotta watch this, people. You've just gotta. (show less)
