The other reviews I read on this site said that the story might move slowly, but I enjoyed the pace of the story. Let me make it clear that this show is not an action blockbuster, but the Mechs are more a vehicle for conveying the existential and psychological motifs of the show. It is in a lot of ways very similar to Eva, but I think the two shows are distinct enough that you won't a two star review about this show being an Eva ripoff. the story is very good. if you are not paying attention to the story you can easily get confused. the story make be a little slow, but i didn't mind. it is one of those personal preferences. while i didn't mind the slower pace of the story, my bro hated it. i guess if you are in to fast paced high action anime this may be too slow for your taste.
the animation is smooth and clean. the attention to detail and the fluidity of the animation was pleasing.

i really didn't find anything objectionable to the series - other than have a slightly complex story. (show less)
