A Provocative, Intricate Story

The other reviews I read on this site said that the story might move slowly, but I enjoyed the pace of the story. Let me make it clear that this show is not an action blockbuster, but the Mechs are more a vehicle for conveying the existential and psychological motifs of the show. It is in a lot of ways very similar to Eva, but I think the two shows are distinct enough that you won't a two star review about this show being an Eva ripoff. Basically, watch this show if you like psychological shows that make you think a little, but if you need an action fix there are other shows with more fighting.
