Summary:
Five years after the death of the Emperor of Marmo in the War of Heroes, Parn is now the Free Knight of Lodoss, he and his old allies now famous through the land. However, the Emperor's right-hand-man, Ashram, seeks the scepter of domination to re-unify Lodoss under his former leader's banner. Meanwhile, beyond his attempts at conquest lies a more sinister force beginning to set the stage for the resurrection of the goddess of death and destruction...
one of the earliest anime i watched. loved every bit of it, the theme songs, the characters (especially deedlit), the plot, the fights (sword fighting, magic and spells, dragons). this anime came into my mind when i was watching "lord of the rings" a few years back. you have warrior, wizard, elf, dwarf, human, orcs, etc. highly recommend for fans of "lord of the rings", "dungeons and dragons" and "warcraft".
This was my very first anime.. My aunt showed it to me when I was nine (it was still on vhs then). anyway this was my introduction the anime genre and I still love it to this day. the characters are wonderful and you fall in love with them pretty early on. The animation is beautiful. This is a must see for every anime watcher or just lover of the fantasy genre.
