The series revolves around three teams consisting of a weapon meister and (at least one) human weapon. Trying to make the latter a "Death Scythe" and thus fit for use by the academy's headmaster, Shinigami (better known as Death God), they must collect the souls of 99 evil humans and one witch, in that order; otherwise, they will have to restart all over again |

Soul eater is a good anime, not the best but pretty good. The animation style is great, colorful, vibrant and just goes hand in hand with the hallowed theme.
This relationships are fantastic, badass fight scenes and the humor is hilarious, I was in pain from laughing to much when I watched this a few years ago.
Unfortunately I am gonna give this one a poor rating due to the dubbed version uploaded here. To me it is just not anime if it isnt in Japanese, I love the Japanese language, it is so expressive and is some of the best voice acting ( read more)

I am glad I managed to watch it subbed before FUNimation snatched it and raped the hell out of it.

I've watched alot of anime and I was recommended this one.
Well I watched episode 1, I was board, confused just didn't get the fact that teams of two go out to fight but one of the pair transforms into the weapon that the other uses to fight with.
Animation was adverage, Storyline had no plot, Characters were type cast and unoriginal.
So I watched episode 2 and 3...I haven't changed my mind

If you can imagine Yuri on Ice! meets Holmes of Kyoto, then this is it. Slow paced but gripping. Boy-Love but not distasteful...
