Summary:
The year is 2356 A.D. - 189 years after a distant supernova caused a global catastrophe that wiped out 99% of the world population. To keep track on all space activities, mankind has built colossal space stations called "foundations" all over the Solar System. After passing the Space Academy entrance exams, Shima Katase embarks to the Earth-based foundation Stellvia to fulfill her dream of seeing the galaxy and to prevent another interstellar catastrophe from destroying Earth.

You dont see many anime about space and thats wat instantly attracted me to this anime. At first I thought it would only be revolve around a few characters so I thought I would probably will quit watching after a few eps, but as I continue watching it got more interesting as new characters are introduced.
I really liked it so I think its a pretty good anime.

Great concept and storyline. A good mix of humor, drama, romance, mech, and fighting. It gets very intense at the end!

Stellvia has long been one of my favorite anime. It has some great soundtracks, an interesting sci-fi story, memorable and like-able characters, a nice dose of comedy, and is generally just fun to watch. I highly recommend it!
