In a man-made underground society, descendants of a banished generation vie for control of the crumbling city of Lux. Ichise, an orphan turned prize fighter, loses a leg and an arm to satisfy an enraged fight promoter. On the brink of death he is taken in by a young woman doctor and used as a guinea pig for the next evolution of Texhnolyze. With his new limbs, Ichise is taken under the wing of Oonishi, a powerful leader of Organ, an organization with some hold on Lux. As Ichise is drawn deeper into a war for territorial control of the city, he learns of his possible future from the young girl prophet Ran, who guides him from the shadows in his darkest times. With the explosion of the warfare, Ichise must uncover the truth about Lux and fight for his survival as he realizes his destiny.

The 1st episode was kinda akward! 4 dialoges and i wasnt understand nothing!
But thats to the reviews i keep watching and at the 2 episode it started to make sense, and good stuff happening(not gona spoil).
Alltrough the episode the story progress and keeps going and you keep wating more and more!
Im awallys waiting for "whats next!?", this anime has alote of gore, and adult stuff, blood sheds, cut of member, this is not for everyone, but the story is awesome.

...I don't even know where to start...i mean, i'm in a lost of words, this anime, this STORY is something i've never saw, ever!
I must say that these anime, is not for everyone. Even i had some doubt about it, and almost stop seeing it at the end of 2nd epi, but fortunnaly i didn't stop, and just finish it today.
It's a little hard to understand all the situations going around, hell, i only understand most of it only at the last 3 epi lol

You must watch this anime as a puzzle, that you complete piece by piece, but never seeing the major picture...anyway i like this anime, ESPECIALLY the finale, really~ good~! (show less)

Dark, psychological, somewhat confusing at times, I like it.
The best comparison I can give to this anime would be Ergo Proxy. The animation itself is great, but with a dark somewhat depressing air, which is appropriate to the story. Some characters are likeable, some not, I believe by design and very often my initial opinion of a character is total off. I find this refreshing.
The story is NOT for everyone. A dark psychological post-apocalyptic epic, a bit slow at times storywise, it can go several episodes without learning much about the world your watching, then the next episode will hit you with (read more)
