Nice, Entertaining& Calming

This anime got a lot of singing in it which I don't particularly dislike. The story focus on drama with some of jokes. The conflicts in the story are mild-moderate conflicts between protagonist-antagonist but almost all are quite simple and focus on entertainment, for those who would like to watch a happy-go-round anime with jokes and singing this is it.

This series is quite funny and the characters are all fun to watch. Each of the characters have one or two episodes focused on them, and even though I thought I wouldn't like an episode because the character wasn't my favourite, it still turned out to be quite enjoyable. The animation of the faces and dance sequences is fantastic. There are many insert songs and each episode has a different ending, most are catchy... but a few are just amazing! The story near the end is emotional and heart-warming, something I wasn't expecting out of a comedy show ( read more)

A well made anime that follows directly with the real storyline. Namco has made some alternative synopsis in the other iDOLM@STER mangas and animes, but this one is most accurate and is a calm and funny anime you'll enjoy.

If you can imagine Yuri on Ice! meets Holmes of Kyoto, then this is it. Slow paced but gripping. Boy-Love but not distasteful...
