Summary:
The background is in the distant future after the destruction brought about by Armageddon. The war between the vampires and the humans continue to persist. In order to protect the humans from the vampires, Vatican has to rely on other allies to counter the situation. The protagonist, a priest called Peter Abel Nightroad, travels through the countries as a representative for the Vaticans. However, he is also part of "Ax", a special operations group controlled by the Cardinal Catherina. His encounter with a young girl called Esther will determine the struggle and survival between the human race and the vampires.
This is actually a really good anime and the only anime I have ever bothered to watch for a second time (at least is in this genre). The fact that this remains "unfinished" is even a better incentive to watch this. The animation is very well done and I cannot help comparing it to other animations employed in anime such as 07 Ghost. The character development is not very visible and the storyline itself leaves a lot to be desired. One can assume that the clarity of this entire mess that is Trinity Blood probably would have been revealed in possible (read more)

The tragedy in this anime is such a wonderful paradox and its a bitter-sweet mood that encompasses the themes present in this anime. Give this one a try (show less)
when i watched this i was amazed, it is so well done
the characters are beautiful and the deep bonds shared between some are touching
also did not expect some of the outcomes, but i like the fact there is this world segregated by humans and vampires, its like it has the subtext of the segragation between races, if you had to think about it
however this does remind be of Hellsing, a Vampire working for a human due to a bond created in the past, but the story is different
the action is good, watch this if you love the battle between humans (read more)

nice one. the story is kinda heavy for someone who does not into vampires and stuff like that. characters development also lacking because the main focus is on two main characters only. love the soundtracks!!!!!!!
I thought each episode brought something a little different. The animation is great... and the story is very interesting. The characters are well written, and the music goes very well with each scene. In all... I definitely recommend Trinity Blood!

This anime started out pretty good, but it became boring and I got frustrated with the ending. To have a good anime you need to have a good story line and good animation as well. This only fit the "good animation" category. Some of the female characters were way over the top dramatizing, and i know that this is typical for an anime but it goes too far and it becomes annoying. Although I managed to finish it because I waited for it to maybe get a bit better and it does for a certain length of time but then it goes back to boring again.
this is the most interesting amine i've seen so far. the story is really good and the action and drama are all great. on the other hand the bad thing about the story is that when you watch all 24 episodes you will find out that there is something missing from the end in ep 24.
this is what i also thought of in the first place, but after i researched about it "I FOUND OUT THE THE PERSON WHO WROTE THIS STORY DIED BEFORE COMPLETING IT".
it's really sad to know about what happened and on top of this sense the story is also sad and you see good people (read more)

it's really sad to know about what happened and on top of this sense the story is also sad and you see good people get killed, it makes it even sadder to watch and it might make you tear up and cry.
i wished if i could know what will happen between Abel and Esther and if i could watch them fall in love. (show less)
This is one of the few animes that I didn't like, although I watched the entire series, waiting for it to get good (it didn't). The story was boring and hard to follow. The "funny" parts couldn't have made a clown laugh and the characters had multiple personalities. The anime people all had eyes with at least ten shine spots each. If you like good story lines, action, or anything that can keep your attention span for more than the first five episodes, don't ever watch Trinity Blood.
