This anime is just too good for entertainment with azuma kazuma. Always creating new ways of making bread . i vote this anime is the best creative anime.

I love this series! I first watched it 3 years ago and when I watched it again this year it is still funny! I introduced the yakitake to my friend and she loved it too! Everytime I watch Yakitake... I feel like I want to eat bread! Seriously!
When my friend told me to watch this anime, I must say, I wasn't too sure. I'd read the summary and well, it didn't sound/seem that interesting. But late one night, when I was bored, I decided to give it a go. Do I regret it? Not at all.
It went above and beyond my expectations. I'll say it, it was funny. The plot is much better than I ever would've predicted and the characters, well I'll let you find that out for yourself. Do not be deterred by the summary or by the first episodes, you'll begin to enjoy it. Trust me on that.

Yakitate!! Japan is probably one of the best written stories of all times. It's full of humor and interesting facts about bread. It's suitable for everyone practically. If you want to settle down for "slice of life", Yakitate!! Japan is the one for you.
You have your protagonist the typical simple minded boy but is a genius in his field. He then has his interesting friends that add the spice and humor to the story. For every episode that was aired, I loved each and every one of them. There is no chance for you to be bored.

Some people may have trouble understanding the story because of its use of puns. The author heavily uses puns for situations and names making it difficult at times to laugh at its jokes so, it helps if you have some knowledge of the Japanese language. (show less)
