Summary:
An original spin-off series centering around Kyousuke Hyoubu, the leader of the criminal esper organization Pandora. For the sake of his fellow espers, he is determined to bring about a revolution.
Having never seen the original series, I was a tad bit confused about the storyline. However, this anime does an incredible job of clearing up any questions about espers and their abilities. The characters are incredible; you have arrogance, badassery, cuteness, etc, etc. The story also contains quite a few twists that have your anger simmering, and your emotions running high. This show is also a bit of a heartbreaker, especially near the end :3. The animation is incredible, and overall, this is an amazing show.
since only the first episode is out at the momment there is nothing much to say.

I want to start off this review by saying I have not seen the original show, off of which this is based, but it clearly stands on it own, since I never had a problem following the story, and all those occasional cameos and back story we were given, just made me more curious to check out the original show, which is a good thing I guess :) Great characters, great action, great pacing, there is so much good about this show I can barely fathom it. This whole concept of espers reminds me a lot of X-Men(minus the spandex of course :D), the titular character (read more)

This whole concept of espers reminds me a lot of X-Men(minus the spandex of course :D), the titular character even shares a lot of personality and power traits with Magneto, he kind of has the same charisma for example. I like how they make the characters balanced, and showed that they were not all bad or all good, they had a bit of both. There is room for expanding the story, and I really hope they do, because over this one 12 episode run, I grew to like so many of the characters. In the meantime, I´ll check out the original series and the OVA :) I´ll give you my thoughts on it, when I´m done(it´ll probably take a while, since the original series is like 50 episodes long, but at least it will be an entertaining ride XD)..
