Summary:
Nanami Momozono is alone and homeless after her dad skips town to evade his gambling debts and the debt collectors kick her out of her apartment. So when a man she's just saved from a dog offers her his home, she jumps at the opportunity. But it turns out that his place is a shrine, and Nanami has unwittingly taken over his job as a local deity!
Nanami has all kinda of new responsibilities she doesn't understand, dangers she's unaware of, and a cranky ex-familiar who's... actually pretty hot. What's a new-fledged godling to do?
this anime is awesome. It's follow the story in the manga (even if there a bit different here and there), and Nanami character is not off. It's GOOD!!
Tomoe is like usual, foul mouthed and things, but nothing is overly out of character.

I loved this Anime so much. Nice graphics, and story, and at the same time, funny.
i really enjoyed watching this anime. finished it it one seating. it is entertaining, fun and stays true to its romantic comedy genre. the characters are all interesting and amazing in their own ways. i enjoyed getting to know them and watching how they further developed as the story unfolds. there wasn't a dull moment for me and i like that it's a light watch. :) though there are some questions/speculations going around my head that perhaps the manga can only answer.
Love the show, the comedy is wonderful and the story easy to follow. I love how the fight scenes are never really intense! it's the kind of comedy show to watch on a lazy and relaxing day!

well, I am a loyal fan of the manga and I just loved it. The manga was awesome so I was really looking forward to the anime and as I feared, they kind of messed it up. As much as Nanami is 'just another ordinary HS student', in the manga, she was not so 'girly'? In the anime she seems like this silly teenage girls always dreaming about boyfriends and pretty clothes, although it does improve after episode 5. I can't stand the op and en OST. It screams 'shoujo romance'. Nevertheless, it is a good anime. I felt they could have done more with the story (read more)

I felt they could have done more with the story and dialogue and the focus is more on Nanami's romantic relationship with Tomoe rather than the character development of both Nanami and Tomoe, individually as well as with each other.
Well, these are really minor details. It's a pity it was so short because the more interesting events take place after this. Better yet, read the manga. :) (show less)
