Some things need to be lived

There have been more than a few people that complain about a specific part of this "second" series.To some degree i agree but if the irritation got to you and you wanted to skip a few of those "episodes" but didn't however then the payoff is well worth it.

The thing that has always caught my eye about the Haruhi show is it's ability to show the everyday happenings in a new light making you apprechiate them somewhat more that you're accustomed to. Ontop of that it does bring to the attention of the viewer exactly what it would be like if extraordinary things were to happen and how fantastic it genuinely is.

For me and the real fans, i hope they had that real sense of apprechiation of events after the "loop" episodes finished. The drudgery, the frustration, the downright wish for "someone who came up with this to go die in a corner somewhere because this couldn't posibly be worth it" feeling was nessecary for the conclusion of it, and it gives a very good example of exactly how Haruhi was feeling in her life and then something that changed it for her. That Eureka! moment is the essence of the show.

In the end the most appropriate thing to say about Haruhi is that it is what it's always been. An anime for the people who love the detail, the obscure refrences and watching each episode at least 5 times just to see what all the varied things they put into it.
